JERSEY DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING LLC in Linden, NJ is seeking a Radiology Technician to join our team. You will prepare patients for procedures, adjust immobilization devices and equipment, and capture high-quality imaging results.

The ideal candidate has graduated from an accredited radiology program, ARRT registration in radiography, and a NJ state license. Strong communication and meticulous attention to detail are essential in our patient-focused environment.

• Must hold a NJ state license as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Radiology Technician to join our team! As a Radiology Technician, you will be preparing patients for their procedures by adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment, and changing controls and exposure to capture the required results. You will also be assisting in maintaining and cleaning radiology equipment, troubleshooting minor issues, and maintaining an inventory of daily supplies. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, prior experience working in a medical setting, and excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Get to know patients to understand their medical needs and concerns, building and maintaining connections
• Set up equipment for testing, adjust immobilization devices, move equipment, and adjust exposure to get the proper results
• Thoroughly document all patient services within a patient’s chart
• Maintain all equipment, troubleshoot problems as needed, and call in for repairs when necessary
• Follow all required safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear, to maintain a safe work environment

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with medical charting desired
• Strong attention to detail
• Graduated from an accredited radiology program
• Must be registered through The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography
• Must hold a NJ state license as a Diagnostic Radiologic technologist
