Atlantic Mobile Imaging Services in Florida is seeking a Radiology Technician to join our team as Lead Tech. You will oversee daily operations, prepare patients for procedures, adjust equipment and exposure, and ensure high safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has ARRT certification, strong communication, and experience with medical charting. You will mentor staff, maintain equipment, and support a flexible, patient-focused imaging service.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required for radiologic technologists.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience with medical charting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand patient needs and build rapport.
• Set up testing equipment and adjust exposure to obtain correct results.

Supervisor Job duties consist of the following in additon to general job skills:

• Oversee training on new techs
• Ongoing support to all X-Ray techs
• QA Monthly review
• Oversee Tech Fleet and maintence records.
• Oversee Machines making sure they are functioning and report any concerns

Job Summary

We are seeking a Radiology Technician to join our team! As a Radiology Technician, you will be preparing patients for their procedures by adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment, and changing controls and exposure to capture the required results. You will also be assisting in maintaining and cleaning radiology equipment, troubleshooting minor issues, and maintaining an inventory of daily supplies. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, prior experience working in a medical setting, and excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Get to know patients to understand their medical needs and concerns, building and maintaining connections
• Set up equipment for testing, adjust immobilization devices, move equipment, and adjust exposure to get the proper results
• Thoroughly document all patient services within a patient’s chart
• Maintain all equipment, troubleshoot problems as needed, and call in for repairs when necessary
• Follow all required safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear, to maintain a safe work environment

Qualifications

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with medical charting desired
• Strong attention to detail
