Job summary

Jersey Diagnostic Imaging LLC is seeking a Radiology Technician to prepare patients, adjust equipment and exposure, and capture high-quality images. You will help maintain and clean radiology equipment, manage supplies, and document patient services with attention to detail.

The ideal candidate has experience in a medical setting, strong communication, and ARRT radiography certification with a NJ license. This is a on-site position focused on patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Experience with medical charting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail is essential.
• Graduation from an accredited radiology program required.
• ARRT radiography certification is required.
• NJ licensing for Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist required.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a Radiology Technician to join our team! As a Radiology Technician, you will be preparing patients for their procedures by adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment, and changing controls and exposure to capture the required results. You will also be assisting in maintaining and cleaning radiology equipment, troubleshooting minor issues, and maintaining an inventory of daily supplies. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, prior experience working in a medical setting, and excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Get to know patients to understand their medical needs and concerns, building and maintaining connections


• Set up equipment for testing, adjust immobilization devices, move equipment, and adjust exposure to get the proper results


• Thoroughly document all patient services within a patient’s chart


• Maintain all equipment, troubleshoot problems as needed, and call in for repairs when necessary


• Follow all required safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear, to maintain a safe work environment

Qualifications

• Experience with medical charting desired

• Graduated from an accredited radiology program


• Must be registered through The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography
