Job summary

VOLTO Consulting seeks an X-Ray Technician to perform imaging procedures in accordance with state and professional guidelines. Responsibilities include ensuring equipment readiness, patient safety and comfort, and coordinating daily imaging work flow.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of X-Ray experience, strong knowledge of imaging equipment, and up-to-date licensure (NJ RT, ARRT) with BLS certification. This role is based in Morristown, NJ and requires rigorous adherence to protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum eligibility includes successful completion of an accredited radiography program.
• Current NJ State Radiologic Technologist license required.
• ARRT certification and BLS are expected.
• Strong communication and documentation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging and treatment procedures per guidelines.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and equipment readiness.
• Coordinate daily imaging procedures and monitor for revisions.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned.

Duties

• Perform and provide appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal and professional guidelines
• Maintain all equipment for procedures, assess safety, procedure, physical and physiological comfort of patient
• Monitor need for procedure revisions, coordinate daily imaging procedure, etc
• Other duties as Assigned

Skills

• 1-3 years experience as X-Ray Technician
• Demonstrate knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting and proper care of all equipment
• Current knowledge of trends and advances in clinical practice and healthcare informatics, as well as new developments and innovations in hardware and software technology
• Demonstrated initiative, problem identification, resolution and analytical skills are essential as well as excellent oral and written communication skills

Education

• Graduate of Accredited Radiography School
• NJ State RT License
