Base pay range

$27.00/hr - $41.00/hr

Description

Location: UCHealth UCHlth Northfied Med Ctr, US:CO:Denver

Department: UCHlth Occ Med Clin Northfield

FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $27.61 - $41.41 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R).
• BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be valid through sixty days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care, performing various imaging and radiologic procedures.
• Value a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes.
• Model proficiency through precepting new staff or students in imaging and UCHealth protocols.
• Embrace continuous learning in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment.
• Ensure safety and quality at the point of care.

Additional Duties

• Review patient history, initiate radiographic images based on physician orders, and educate patients to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Safely administer contrast media or related imaging medications, monitoring patient condition.
• Respond to and report changes in patient condition appropriately.
• Implement techniques to optimize image clarity, quality control, and equipment functionality following best practices in radiology (ARRT).
