In this role, the Radiology Technologist will perform a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to obtain images for radiological diagnosis. This position covers Inpatient X-ray, ER X-ray, and OR procedures. The technologist will respond appropriately to professional staff and patient demands and assist management in maintaining high-quality service.

This is a full-time position, located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, working Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am.

Preferred Criteria:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification strongly preferred
• Previous experience in general Diagnostic Radiology

Required Criteria:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiography Technologist program
• High School Diploma/GED
• N.Y. State Department of Health X-ray License
• For new graduates: Temporary license required, with exam date supplied prior to employment; New York State Radiologic Technologist license must be obtained within six months of hire
