Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify anatomical orientation on all required images and assure proper file identification.
• Greet patients, obtain history, and enter information into computer system.
• Perform x-rays at the optimal quality.
• Protect patient from excessive radiation.
• Provide coverage as needed for call outs or extended schedules.
• Provide instruction/mentoring to new hires.
• Perform procedures in compliance with Standards of Care, facility and regulatory requirements, and ARRT Standards of Ethics.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Explain procedures to patients and outline follow-up steps.
• Review examinations for technical accuracy and communicate results to care team.
