Responsibilities

• Identify anatomical orientation on all images and ensure proper file identification.
• Demonstrate competency performing radiographic procedures and operating related equipment.
• Greet patients, obtain history, and enter information in computer system.
• Perform x-rays at optimal quality.
• Protect patients from excessive radiation and monitor vital signs during examination.
• Provide coverage as needed and mentor new hires.
• Maintain CPR certification and HIPAA compliance.
• Communicate results to radiologist and care team; ensure accurate data transfer.
• Contribute to efficient outpatient operations and maintain sterile techniques.
