As a Travel X-Ray Tech, you’ll capture diagnostic images, ensure patient comfort and safety, and support providers with accurate imaging for treatment and care planning.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required.
• Active state license or eligibility to practice as a Radiologic Technologist.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent X-ray experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Proficiency in portable X-rays, C-arm, and trauma imaging preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, positioning, and image quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray exams on patients in outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings.
• Position patients and adjust equipment to ensure optimal image quality.
• Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain sterile technique.
• Communicate clearly with patients and collaborate with radiologists and care teams.
• Maintain and calibrate radiologic equipment as needed.
