Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Diagnostic Cardiac and Vascular Sonographer for a 13-week assignment in the United States. The role covers non-invasive imaging for cardiac and vascular studies, with required breast imaging and obstetric capabilities across all trimesters.

A RDCS/RCS/RCCS/RVT/RVS or equivalent certification is expected, plus BLS. Responsibilities include image acquisition, proper billing, patient communication, and strict adherence to guidelines and confidentiality.

Diagnostic Cardiac and Vascular Sonographer

Rotating shifts to include Days, Afternoons, Weekends, Holidays, and On-Call.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Cardiac and Vascular Sonographer to perform non‑invasive imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both cardiac and vascular diagnostics, as well as essential breast imaging experience, and must be capable of handling obstetric imaging across all trimesters.

Responsibilities

• Perform all non‑invasive imaging procedures for cardiac imaging including echocardiograms, TEE, TTE, stress echo, etc., or vascular imaging procedures including venous and arterial duplexes.
• Ensure proper billing of procedures and prioritize patient scheduling for timely completion.
• Obtain information for specific procedures, answer patient inquiries, and maintain courteous interactions.
• Perform all imaging procedures within established guidelines and notify medical staff of any abnormal findings.
• Document procedures accurately in patient charts and maintain the orderliness of equipment and work areas.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with established policies and regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current certification as a Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS), Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS).
• Breast imaging experience is required.
• Ability to perform obstetric imaging for all trimesters.
• BLS certification (AHA) is mandatory.
