ARMStaffing is seeking a Pediatric Echocardiography Sonographer to provide coverage at our pediatric clinic and affiliated hospital in Martinsburg, WV. You will perform transthoracic echocardiograms and related pediatric imaging, ensuring high-quality data and patient care.

The ideal candidate holds RDCS certification with PE/FE preferred, maintains BLS, and brings at least five years of pediatric echocardiography experience. Weekend call coverage is required on a rotating schedule.

Pediatric Echocardiography Sonographer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Echocardiography Sonographer to provide coverage at our pediatric clinic and hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and other related diagnostic procedures for pediatric patients, contributing to the high standard of care expected in our facility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pediatric echocardiograms, including transthoracic echocardiograms (TEE), Carotid and Venous Duplex procedures.
• Maintain high-quality imaging standards and ensure accurate data collection during diagnostic procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop patient care plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide call coverage, with weekend responsibilities approximately every fourth weekend.

Schedule

This position requires a commitment of five 8-hour days per week, with rotating call coverage during weekends.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification, with a Pediatric Echocardiography (PE) or Fetal Echocardiography (FE) specialty preferred.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in pediatric echocardiography.
