Job summary

Saint Clare’s Health in Denville, NJ, is seeking a Radiology Transporter for a per diem role. You will transport patients to and from Radiology, assist with darkroom duties, ordering supplies, stocking, and provide clerical support in the department.

The position requires basic patient handling and strong courtesy for patients and visitors. Eligible applicants must have a High School diploma or equivalent and BCLS (AHA) certification at hire, with transportation experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• Transportation experience preferred.
• Starting April 2014, all new hires will require a High School diploma or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to and from the Radiology Department.
• Performs darkroom duties and stocks supplies.
• Assists with dressing patients and front office tasks.
• Handles clerical duties: answers phones, greets patients, prepares requisitions.
• Retrieves patient records for physicians or medical records; runs errands throughout the facility.
