Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• BLS certification preferred; required within six months of hire.
• Six months hospital patient transport experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from Radiology using wheelchair, bed or gurney.
• Assist patients in getting in and out of bed and position them for procedures.
• Observe patient condition during transport and report changes to clinical staff.
• Assist with non-patient transport (e.g., specimens, beds, CDs) as needed.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of radiology transport equipment and supplies.
• Perform Radiology Clerical duties and stock lines and supplies as requested.
