Job summary

Providence Centralia Hospital is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist to perform radiology exams and support radiologists in providing accurate information for interpretation.

The role requires Washington radiologic technologist licensure, ARRT certification, and Basic Life Support. Candidate should have at least one year of clinical radiology experience and be committed to quality control, safety, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Two years radiologic technologist training or equivalent education/experience.
• Washington Radiologic Technologist license required at hire.
• National Certification from ARRT required at hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required at hire.
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience in Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Set up and conduct radiological procedures and imaging.
• Assist radiologist and operate radiographic equipment.
• Perform quality control and reporting tasks.
• Contribute ideas to Growth and Development of the DI department.

Provides quality care to patients. Performs Radiology exams proficiently to provide Radia Radiologists with accurate information to reach an interpretation. Brings areas of improvement to the attention of Management. The Registered Radiological Technologist is responsible for radiological procedures, assisting radiologist, and radiographic equipment operations as outlined in the job's position description. Typical responsibilities includes: setting up and conducting radiological procedures and performing quality control and reporting tasks. Participates in the growth and development of the DI department and contributes ideas.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Two years community college/vocational training in an accredited radiological technologist training program or equivalent education/experience.
• Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist.
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 1 year Clinical experience in Radiologic Technology, or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hospital experience.
