Job summary

Providence St. Peter Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiology exams, assist radiologists, and manage radiographic equipment in a patient-focused environment.

You will contribute to quality control, procedures setup, and reporting while supporting the DI department's growth and development. Qualified candidates hold WA Radiologic Technologist licensure, ARRT certification, BLS certification, and 2+ years of clinical radiologic experience.

Qualifications

  • Two years community college/vocational training in an accredited radiologic technologist training program.
  • Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist license.
  • Upon hire: ARRT certification.
  • Upon hire: BLS - American Heart Association.
  • 2 years clinical experience in Radiologic Technology, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and conduct radiological procedures and ensure quality control and reporting tasks.
  • Assist radiologists during procedures and operate radiographic equipment.
  • Participate in growth and development of the Diagnostic Imaging department and contribute ideas.

Education

Two years community college/vocational training in radiologic technologist program
Washington Radiologic Technologist license
ARRT Certification
BLS - American Heart Association
2 years clinical experience in Radiologic Technology

Description

Provides quality care to patients. Performs Radiology exams proficiently to provide Radiologists with accurate information to reach an interpretation. Brings areas of improvement to the attention of Management. The Registered Radiological Technologist is responsible for radiological procedures, assisting radiologist, and radiographic equipment operations as outlined in the job's position description. Typical responsibilities include: setting up and conducting radiological procedures and performing quality control and reporting tasks. Participates in the growth and development of the DI department and contributes ideas.

Required Qualifications
  • Two years community college/vocational training in an accredited radiological technologist training program., Or equivalent education/experience
  • Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist
  • Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 2 years Clinical experience in Radiologic Technology, or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6 months CT scanning experience (Toshiba equipment preferred for CT).
  • Hospital experience.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Pay Range: $41.63 - $64.63
