Job summary

Providence is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiology exams proficiently and support radiologists with accurate imaging for interpretation. You will set up procedures, operate radiographic equipment, and participate in quality control and reporting tasks, contributing to the growth of the DI department.

Qualifications

• Two years community college/vocational training in an accredited radiologic technologist program, or equivalent education/experience.
• Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist license.
• Upon hire: ARRT certification and BLS.
• 2 years clinical experience in Radiologic Technology, or equivalent.

Provides quality care to patients. Performs Radiology exams proficiently to provide Radiologists with accurate information to reach an interpretation. Brings areas of improvement to the attention of Management. The Registered Radiological Technologist is responsible for radiological procedures, assisting radiologist, and radiographic equipment operations as outlined in the job's position description. Typical responsibilities include: setting up and conducting radiological procedures and performing quality control and reporting tasks. Participates in the growth and development of the DI department and contributes ideas.

Required Qualifications:

• Two years community college/vocational training in an accredited radiological technologist training program., Or equivalent education/experience
• Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 2 years Clinical experience in Radiologic Technology, or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 months CT scanning experience (Toshiba equipment preferred for CT).
• Hospital experience.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
