Job summary

UC Health is seeking a full-time Radiology Technologist for the X-ray department on the second shift at University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH.

The role performs diagnostic radiographs, adheres to established protocols, and ensures patient and staff safety while maintaining quality control and accurate record-keeping. ARRT registration and Ohio licensure are required; BLS certification is also expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree is required.
• 1–3 years of radiology experience preferred, new graduates considered.
• ARRT registration required.
• Current licensure by the State of Ohio.
• BLS for Healthcare workers certification.

Responsibilities

• Communicates clearly with patients and staff to identify needs.
• Performs diagnostic procedures by reviewing patient history and following established protocols.
• Ensures patient and staff safety by providing PPE, regulating exposure time and intensity, and using equipment correctly.
• Reviews images for diagnostic acceptability and maintains records and quality control.
• Prepares and administers contrast media under physician direction and assists in emergencies.
• Participates in continuing education activities related to Radiologic Technology and subspecialties.
