UC Health is hiring a full-time Radiology Technologist for the University of Cincinnati Medical Center’s x-ray department. The role supports radiology operations, producing diagnostic radiographs and applying independent judgment to ensure image quality and protocol compliance.

The position requires an Associate’s degree, ARRT registration, Ohio licensure, and BLS certification. Prior radiology experience is preferred, with opportunities to develop skills in a leading academic health system.

Formación

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience preferred; new grads considered.
• ARRT registration and current Ohio licensure.
• BLS for Healthcare workers certification.

Responsabilidades

• Communicates clearly with patients and staff and assesses needs.
• Performs diagnostic radiographs following established protocols and safety measures.
• Ensures patient and staff safety by using protective equipment and controlling exposure times.
• Reviews images for diagnostic acceptability and maintains records and quality control.
• Under physician direction, prepares and administers contrast media and assists in emergencies.
• Participates in continuing education and subspecialty knowledge in Radiologic Technology.
