Job summary
UC Health’s West Chester Hospital diagnostic imaging team is seeking a Radiology Technologist to produce diagnostic radiographs with independent judgment and in accordance with protocols. The role is based in West Chester, OH, within UC Health’s renowned imaging department.
The candidate will be ARRT registered, Ohio-licensed, and BLS certified, with 1–3 years of experience preferred. The position involves shift rotations, on-call needs, and a strong commitment to patient safety and quality
Qualifications
- Completion of a JRCERT approved program in Radiologic Technology.
- Associate of Science Degree in Radiologic Technology.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Current licensure by the State of Ohio.
- BLS certification for Healthcare workers.
Responsibilities
- Performs diagnostic radiographs according to established protocols.
- Explains procedures to patients and ensures understanding.
- Positions patients and protects them from ionizing radiation.
- Operates radiographic equipment and follows safety protocols.
- Reviews images for diagnostic quality and accuracy.
- Maintains records and supplies and participates in continuing education.
