Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Applied Science with radiology tech certification.
• At least 2 years of radiology tech experience in hospital or ER.
• ARRT certification required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Texas Department of State Health Services Radiology Technologist license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive patient care under supervision of RN in charge or physician.
• Take height, weight, vital signs, perform IV starts, blood draws.
• Operate x-ray and/or CT equipment per physicians’ orders.
• Produce quality images and upload for radiology reads/interpretations.
• Assist with assessments, examinations and treatment; assist with casting/dressing changes.
