Job summary

Share Medical Center in Alva, OK seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety. You will collaborate with care teams and support department operations, with on-call rotation and emergency imaging responsiveness.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, is ARRT registered, and will obtain BLS within 90 days of hire. On-site work with strong commitment to patient-centered care is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• Current ARRT registration.
• Current BLS certification (Must obtain within 90 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures adhering to physician orders and department standards.
• Prepare and position patients accurately to obtain high-quality radiographic images.
• Practice radiation safety techniques to minimize exposure to patients, staff, and self.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, reporting malfunctions as needed.
• Assist with scheduling and coordination of imaging services across X-Ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound and Mammography.
