Job summary

Oklahoma State University Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate routine radiographic equipment safely and proficiently. The successful candidate will supervise first-year x-ray students and assist in evaluating their progress, while delivering high-quality imaging.

Required ARRT certification or eligibility with certification within one year, plus BLS. On-call duties are a daily requirement, with a 30-minute return time to the hospital, and strong communication with

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registered or eligible; certification within one year of hire.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate routine radiographic equipment safely and proficiently.
• Produce high-quality radiographs with a minimum of repeats.
• Oversee first-year x-ray students and assist in evaluating their progress.
• Communicate with physicians, patients, families and hospital staff.
• Participate in department performance improvement and on-call duties.
