Job summary

Kadlec Regional Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to provide radiologic care for diagnosis and treatment in a clinical urgent care setting. You will assist physicians and perform specimen collection, processing, and waived/moderate testing as required.

Qualified candidates will have AMA approved Radiology training, Washington Radiologic Technologist credentials, BLS from American Heart Association, and ARRT certification.

Qualifications

• AMA approved Radiology program required.
• Washington Radiologic Technologist credential required.
• BLS provider card (American Heart Association) on hire.
• ARRT certification on hire.
• Desirable: Associate's Degree in Medical Imaging.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiologic care to patients for diagnosis and/or treatment.
• Assist physician as required in urgent care setting.
• Perform specimen collection, processing, and waived/moderate testing as needed.

Job description

Under the general direction of the Practice Administrator/Manager and/or Provider, performs a variety of duties involved in providing patient care in a clinical urgent care setting. Provides Radiologic care to patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders, assists physician as required. Preforms specimen collection, processing, waived and moderate testing of patient specimens for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders, assists physician as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of AMA approved Radiology program.


• Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist.


• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.


• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's Degreefrom an accredited educational institution in Medical Imaging.


• 1 yearDiagnostic imaging experience.


• 1 yearexperience in laboratory testing and phlebotomy.
