Job summary

Providence in Centralia is looking for a Registered Radiological Technologist to provide quality care through proficient radiology exams and assist radiologists. This role focuses on patient-centered care, ensuring accurate information for interpretations and improving departmental processes.

Successful candidates will have at least two years of accredited training, necessary certifications, and clinical experience in Radiologic Technology. The position offers excellent benefits, empowering you to contribute to a mission of caring for the community.

Qualifications

  • Requires two years of training in an accredited program or equivalent experience.
  • Must have Washington Radiologic Technologist certification upon hire.
  • National certification from ARRT required upon hire.
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association needed upon hire.
  • At least 1 year of clinical experience in Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiology exams and procedures.
  • Conduct quality control and reporting tasks.
  • Assist radiologists with procedures and equipment operations.

Job description

Provides quality care to patients. Performs Radiology exams proficiently to provide Radia Radiologists with accurate information to reach an interpretation. Brings areas of improvement to the attention of Management. The Registered Radiological Technologist is responsible for radiological procedures, assisting radiologist, and radiographic equipment operations as outlined in the job's position description. Typical responsibilities includes: setting up and conducting radiological procedures and performing quality control and reporting tasks. Participates in the growth and development of the DI department and contributes ideas.

Required Qualifications:
  • Coursework/Training: Two years community college/vocational training in an accredited radiological technologist training program or equivalent education/experience.
  • Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist.
  • Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • 1 year Clinical experience in Radiologic Technology, or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hospital experience.
