Job summary

Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists in Spokane, WA is hiring a Supplemental Radiology Technologist to join our team. This supplemental employment offers an excellent schedule—no nights, no on-call, and weekends/major holidays off—and a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

You will perform radiologic exams, operate X-ray equipment per established procedures, and deliver outstanding service to patients.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) certification required or within 6 months of hire into this classification.
• BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of current medical standards and regulations.
• Ability to maintain and accurately record EHR files.

Responsibilities

• Completes all radiological exams.
• Operates X-Ray equipment following established procedures.
• Provides excellent customer service to patients.
• Assists other clinical staff with cleaning rooms, rooming patients and taking medical histories as needed.
• Stays compliant with HIPAA regulations regarding patients and clinic personnel.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Completes all radiological exams
• The X-Ray Technologist carries out the tests by following the procedures for use of the specific equipment required.
• Provides excellent customer service to our patients.
• If necessary will assist other clinical staff with cleaning rooms, rooming patients and doing Medical Histories.
• Stays in compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patients and or other clinic personal.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• ARRT(R); If registry is pending, must complete within 6 months from date of hire into this job classification
• BLS
• Knowledge of current medical standards and regulations.
• Ability to maintain and accurately record EHR files.

SHIFT:

• Day shift. No nights, no weekends, on-call, or major holidays.

Hourly Rate: $29.25- $48.25
