Job summary

Intermountain Health Riverton Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform exams, ensure safety, and deliver high-quality images across fluoroscopy and mobile imaging. You will support patient comfort and education while maintaining strict protocols.

Required ARRT(R) certification, state license, and BLS; 1–2 years radiology experience preferred. Compensation includes an hourly range of $29.43–$45.39 with a sign-on bonus of $3,000 and relocation assistance where applicable.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) certification required.
• State radiologic technologist license in practice state.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• May require MA competency check in clinic settings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT or modality competency in clinical/technical functions.
• Identify patients, verify orders, and prepare for exams.
• Perform exams per protocols and review images for quality.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within acceptable time while preserving care quality.
• Assist students and fellow techs with procedures and positioning.
• Educate patients, ensure comfort, and address concerns.
• Maintain infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operate equipment and info systems to ensure quality images.
• Keep accurate records of procedures and adverse reactions.
• Follow coding, charging, and consent protocols; report failures.
