Job summary

Intermountain Health Riverton Hospital in Riverton, UT is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and ensure high-quality images while maintaining patient safety.

The candidate must hold ARRT certification, state licensure, and BLS certification. Acute care and fluoroscopy experience are preferred. Shifts include Saturdays and Sundays, 7:00–17:30, with a 20-hour weekly schedule and potential sign-on/relocation consideration.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required with radiology licensure in the practicing state.
• Current BLS certification for healthcare providers is required.
• Experience performing fluoroscopy and acute care imaging preferred.
• Strong patient-care skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT or modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Prepares patients, verifies identity, and facilitates the exam following protocols.
• Performs imaging exams and reviews images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe work area.
• Instructs students and other radiology staff on exam protocols and equipment.
• Provides patient education, comfort, and addresses concerns.
• Keeps records of patient information, procedures, and any adverse reactions.
• Reports equipment failures and participates in QC programs.
