Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures across multiple settings. The role emphasizes patient safety, ALARA principles, accurate documentation, and high-quality image production.

The ideal candidate will be licensed or eligible in radiography, have ARRT/BLS credentials, and be able to work with RIS and PACS systems in a collaborative healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Two year AMA accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the ARRT or registry eligible; licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Radiation Control Program in Radiography.
• Certified in basic life support (BLS).
• Proficient in radiologic equipment including C-arms/portable.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures to produce images for diagnosis and treatment.
• Obtains and documents patient information for exams.
• Documents contrast used in medical records.
• Uses RIS with high accuracy and labels images correctly.
• Maintains quality control using the PACS system.
• Maintains licensure on an annual basis.
• Adheres to ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Works with the team to ensure quality patient care.
