Job summary

Tenet Desert in Joshua Tree, California is seeking a Radiology Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging including CT and MRI, under radiologist supervision. The role supports inpatient, outpatient, ED and operating suite imaging needs, with 7:30am–6pm shifts and 10-hour days.

Requirements include ARRT certification, CA CRT and Fluoroscopy licenses, BLS, and at least three years of experience. DEXA experience preferred; excellent patient care and safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Must hold CA CRT certification and CA Fluoroscopy license.
• ARRT RT (R) certification with CT/MRI experience.
• Currently certified in American Heart Association BLS.
• Minimum of three years as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Provide radiographic imaging services for inpatients, outpatients, ED, operating rooms and CCC.
• Operate imaging equipment and image processing systems; maintain rooms and supplies.
• Perform CT and MRI exams as required; conduct DEXA scans when needed.
• Ensure ALARA radiation safety practices and accurate patient positioning.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and high-quality patient care standards.
• Assist with PACS, RIS and EHR documentation and training of staff.
