Job summary

Tenet Desert in Joshua Tree, CA is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform general radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including DEXA scans, across inpatient and ED settings.

The role requires CA CRT and Fluoroscopy licenses, ARRT RT(R) certification with CT/MRI experience, and a minimum of three years' experience, plus BLS certification and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Must have CA CRT certification and CA Fluoroscopy license.
• ARRT RT(R) certification with CT and/or MRI experience.
• Minimum of three (3) continuous years experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Perform general diagnostic radiographic procedures and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment, image processing systems, and PACS; prepare exam rooms and maintain equipment.
• Provide DEXA scans as needed; handle patient care across inpatients, outpatients, ED, CCC.
• Maintain quality assurance and regulatory compliance; ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
• Educate patients about procedures and ensure ALARA radiation practices.
• Participate in training of students and staff; standby call weekly as scheduled.
