Job summary

Desert Care Network is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist – Advanced to perform general diagnostic radiology and fluoroscopic procedures, with potential DEXA scanning. You will operate imaging equipment, ensure patient safety, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires CA CRT and ARRT RT(R) certification, CT/MRI experience, and strong patient communication. This is a hospital-based position with on-site responsibilities and regular call duties.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of Radiologic Technology with licensure prerequisites.
• Current CA CRT certification and CA Fluoroscopy license or ability to obtain within 120 days.
• ARRT R.T.(R) certification and CT/MRI experience preferred.
• BLS certification and English communication proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging studies and protect privacy.
• Confirm patient identity, verify orders, and collect relevant history.
• Operate imaging equipment and perform radiographic, CT, and MRI procedures.
• Position patients, apply ALARA principles, and ensure radiation safety.
• Maintain PACS/RIS/EHR documentation and assist with training staff.
