Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Radiology Technologist in Boston, MA, to perform routine diagnostic imaging on scheduled and emergency patients, while ensuring quality and safety. The role requires ARRT certification, MA radiography licensure, and an associate degree in radiologic technology.

Qualifications

Requires ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology.
Massachusetts Radiographer license is required.
Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology required.
Training in Diagnostic Radiology preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform routine diagnostic radiology imaging examinations on both scheduled and emergency patients.
Review requisitions and extract data from patient charts to confirm procedure appropriateness.
Verify patient identity using two identifiers before imaging.
Select imaging equipment, factors, and exposure parameters to demonstrate anatomy.
Explain procedures and radiation exposure to patients, adhering to ALARA principles.
Maintain documentation and imaging records per quality control workflows.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Comply with regulatory, licensing, and accreditation standards related to radiology.
