Job summary

Responsibilities include patient verification, exam tracking, and collaboration with radiology staff. Requires MA license, ARRT, and BLS; a 0-1 year background is acceptable and a sign-on bonus may apply.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts radiologic license required.
• ARRT certification required.
• Heart Saver or BLS required within 60 days of hire.
• Experience in hospital imaging department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advocates for NEBH locations and promotes mission of transforming lives.
• Verifies patient identity and prepares for exams; ensures accurate patient care until discharge.
• Performs radiographic exams and adjusts exposure factors for diagnostic quality.
• Maintains radiation safety using Time, Distance and Shielding principles; monitors exposure.
• Operates and troubleshoots imaging equipment; ensures data accuracy in RIS/PACS.
• May rotate to NEBH locations and collaborate across departments.
