Responsibilities

• Communicates clearly with patients and staff and responds to varying needs.
• Performs diagnostic procedures by reviewing patient history, explaining the procedure, and following all established protocols and safety measures.
• Ensures patient and staff safety by providing protective equipment, regulating exposure time and intensity, and using equipment correctly.
• Reviews images for diagnostic acceptability and maintains accurate records and quality control.
• Prepares and administers contrast media under physician direction, practices sterile techniques, and assists in emergency procedures as needed.
• Participates in continuing education related to radiologic technology and its subspecialties.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required.
• 1–3 years of experience preferred; new graduates will be considered.
• Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Current licensure by the State of Ohio.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare workers.
