Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree required.
  • 1–3 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates.
  • ARRT registration.
  • Current licensure by the State of Ohio.
  • BLS for Healthcare workers must be current.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates clearly with patients and staff and responds to varied needs.
  • Performs diagnostic procedures by reviewing history, explaining steps, and following protocols.
  • Ensures safety by using protective equipment, regulating exposure time, and proper equipment use.
  • Reviews images for diagnostic acceptability and maintains records and quality control.
  • Prepares and administers contrast media under physician direction and assists in emergencies as needed.
  • Participates in continuing education in Radiologic Technology and subspecialties.

UC Health is hiring a full‑time Radiology Technologist for the Radiology department for first shift at The University of Cincinnati Medical Center. We are offering up to a $15,000 sign on bonus! A Radiology Technologist will support the University of Cincinnati Medical Center’s Radiology Department and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients through producing diagnostic radiographs of the human body using independent judgment to determine quality of radiographs and compliance with established protocols.

Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree required.
  • 1–3 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates.
  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current licensure by the State of Ohio.
  • Certified in BLS for Healthcare workers.
Responsibilities

  • Performs diagnostic procedures by reviewing patient history, communicating what will occur, and following all established protocols and safety measures.
  • Ensures patient and staff safety by providing protective equipment, regulating time and intensity of exposure, and utilizing equipment correctly.
  • Reviews images for diagnostic acceptability and maintains appropriate record‑keeping and quality control.
  • Prepares and administers contrast media under physician direction, practices sterile techniques to prevent spread of disease, and assists in administering emergency procedures as needed.
  • Participates in continuing education activities related to the field of Radiologic Technology and its subspecialties.
