Cincinnati, OH, United States
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree required
- 1–2 years of experience preferred
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and current state license required
- Completion of JRCERT approved program in Radiologic Technology or an Associate of Science Degree in Radiologic Technology.
- Successfully completed and passed CT registry.
- Must participate in continuing education activities in accordance to the ARRT guidelines.
- Valid Ohio radiologic license.
- Current CPR certification by the American Heart Association must be held.
- Required Skills and Knowledge: Must complete at least 24 hours of direct credit continuing education every 2 years
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT procedures according to physician orders and safety protocols
- Communicate clearly with patients and team members, ensuring a positive experience
- Operate equipment with precision, maintaining proper exposure levels and techniques
- Review images for quality and diagnostic acceptability
- Prepare and administer contrast media under physician direction
- Practice sterile techniques and assist with emergency procedures when needed
- Participate in continuing education and development
