Job summary

Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage, WI is seeking a RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST to join our RADIOLOGY team. The diagnostic Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic examinations of the highest possible quality while limiting radiation exposure and using conventional, fluoroscopic, portable, and c-arm radiology equipment.

Complies with measures to assure that patient/customer satisfaction results are consistently maintained. Appropriately supervises students according to competency level.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Imaging Services standards and procedures as they relate to radiographic procedures.
• ARRT (R) required; State of Wisconsin licensure required.
• WI license and CPR/BLS certification needed.
• Site-specific competencies in protocols, equipment and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic examinations of the highest possible quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Uses conventional, fluoroscopic, portable and c-arm radiology equipment.
• Supervises students according to competency level to support training and safety.

Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage, WI is seeking a RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST to join our RADIOLOGY team!

The diagnostic Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic examinations of the highest possible quality while limiting radiation exposure and using conventional, fluoroscopic, portable, and c-arm radiology equipment. Complies with measures to assure that patient/customer satisfaction results are consistently maintained. Appropriately supervises students according to competency level.

HOURS: .6 FTE/48 hours every two weeks, day shifts with start times of 7:30am, 8:00am or 9:00am, occasional weekends

Experience/Qualifications

• Knowledge of Imaging Services standards and procedures as they relate to radiographic procedures normally acquired through graduation from an approved radiography school, an associate degree in Radiography, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification and/or State of Wisconsin Radiographer licensure requirements.
• ARRT (R) required.
• State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer license (WI Locations only)
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
• Site specific competencies in protocols, equipment, computer systems and applications.
