Job summary

Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our Radiology team. This role offers mentorship and opportunities to cross-train into CT, MRI, or Mammography, with weekend shifts and weekend pay premium.

Responsibilities include high-quality radiographic exams, adherence to safety standards, and supervising students as needed. This position supports career growth within a large department.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Imaging Services standards and procedures related to radiographic procedures.
• Graduation from an approved radiography school and an Associate Degree in Radiography.
• ARRT certification and/or State of Wisconsin Radiographer licensure.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic examinations with high quality while limiting radiation exposure using various radiology equipment.
• Ensure patient satisfaction through quality care and consistent service.
• Supervise students according to competency level.

Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking a RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST to join our RADIOLOGY team!

This is a wonderful opportunity for a new Radiology Technologist to be mentored and supported by a large staff. We offer the opportunity to cross train in a second modality and support future career growth into CT, MRI or Mammography roles!

• The diagnostic Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic examinations of the highest possible quality while limiting radiation exposure and using conventional, fluoroscopic, portable, and c-arm radiology equipment.
• Complies with measures to assure that patient/customer satisfaction results are consistently maintained.
• Appropriately supervises students according to competency level.

HOURS: 72 hours every two weeks, working WEEKENDS (Friday-Sunday 6:30pm-6:30am)

• Training may be completed during the week until able to work independently on the weekend
• Weekend Only shifts are eligible for 1.5X base wage

Experience/Qualifications

• Knowledge of Imaging Services standards and procedures as they relate to radiographic procedures normally acquired through graduation from an approved radiography school, an Associate Degree in Radiography, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification and/or State of Wisconsin Radiographer licensure requirements.
• ARRT (R)
• State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer license
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
• Site specific competencies in protocols, equipment, computer systems and applications.
