Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our team and provide high-quality radiographic services. The position offers opportunities to cross-train in a second modality and grow into CT, MRI, or Mammo roles within a large, supportive staff.

Hours include 72 hours every two weeks, with day shifts preferred but other shifts possible based on staffing. ARRT(R) certification and Wisconsin licensure are required, along with BLS certification or training within

• Graduation from an approved radiography school or equivalent.
• ARRT (R) certification and/or Wisconsin licensure requirements.
• Active or soon-to-be active BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• The diagnostic Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic examinations of the highest possible quality while limiting radiation exposure and using conventional, fluoroscopic, portable, and c-arm radiology equipment.
• Complies with measures to assure that patient/customer satisfaction results are consistently maintained.
• Appropriately supervises students according to competency level.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a new Radiology Technologist to be mentored and supported by a large staff. We offer the opportunity to cross train in a second modality and support future career growth into CT, MRI or Mammo roles!

• The diagnostic Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic examinations of the highest possible quality while limiting radiation exposure and using conventional, fluoroscopic, portable, and c-arm radiology equipment.
• Complies with measures to assure that patient/customer satisfaction results are consistently maintained.
• Appropriately supervises students according to competency level.

Hours: 72 hours every two weeks, mainly day shift but all shifts possible depending on vacation and staffing needs; weekends, holiday and call rotation

Experience/Qualifications

• Knowledge of Imaging Services standards and procedures as they relate to radiographic procedures normally acquired through graduation from an approved radiography school, an Associate Degree in Radiography, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification and/or State of Wisconsin Radiographer licensure requirements.
• ARRT (R)
• State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer license
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
• Site specific competencies in protocols, equipment, computer systems and applications.
