Job summary

Aspirus Tomahawk Hospital in Tomahawk, WI is seeking an Imaging Technologist to join our CAT SCAN team. The Imaging Technologist performs radiographic and CT examinations of the highest possible quality in multiple modalities.

We comply with measures to ensure patient satisfaction and supervise students according to competency. HOURS: 72 hours every two weeks working primarily days (shift starts between 7am-8am) working 8-9 hour days; plus every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved radiography program with ARRT certification.
• Experience with CT scanning is required.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.

The Imaging Technologist performs radiographic and CT examinations of the highest possible quality in multiple modalities. Comply with measures to ensure that patient/customer satisfaction results are consistently maintained. Appropriately supervises students according to competency level.

Experience/Qualifications

• Knowledge of Imaging Services standards and procedures as they relate to radiographic procedures normally acquired through graduation from an approved radiography school, an associate degree in Radiography, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification and/or State of Wisconsin Radiographer licensure requirements.
• Experience with CT required
• ARRT (R) required.
• State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer license (WI Locations only)
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
• Site specific competencies in protocols, equipment, computer systems and applications.
