The role requires ARRT certification, CPR, and at least two years of radiography training, with proficiency in operating radiology equipment and supporting departmental education.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification and CPR certification are required.
• Minimum 2 years of radiography training in an accredited program.
• Working knowledge of all radiological equipment and ability to perform highly specialized exams as part of the diagnostic team.

Responsibilities

• Types, proofreads, and mails results of the exams.
• Coordinates multiple factors to achieve a quality exam in appropriate timeframe.
• Utilize radiation safety devices.
• Attends departmental in-services and other staff development programs.
• Maintains and cleans equipment work areas and reports malfunctions or breakages.
