Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sarasota is seeking a Radiology Technologist to support the diagnostic team with highly complex exams. You will coordinate specialized equipment, calculate technical factors, and maintain strict radiation safety while ensuring timely, accurate results.

The role requires ARRT certification, an active state license as required, CPR certification, and at least 2 years of radiography training.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification and active state license as required by Florida law.
• CPR certification maintained at all times.
• Minimum 2 years of radiography training in an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Types, proofreads, and mails results of the exams.
• Coordinates multiple factors to achieve a timely, quality exam.
• Utilize radiation safety devices and follow safety protocols.
• Attends departmental in-services and staff development programs.
• Maintains and cleans equipment work areas and reports malfunctions promptly.
