Job summary

Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and ensure high-quality images while following radiation safety guidelines.

The role requires graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, Florida licensure, ARRT certification, and current BLS.

This PRN Pool position supports the Diagnostic Imaging department with variable shifts and patient-focused care in the St. Petersburg area.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid Florida licensure as Radiologic Technologist.
• Valid ARRT certification.
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy and/or physiology for interpretation and/or intervention.
• Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to quality care.
• Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.
• Complies with all state and federal regulations applicable to each modality.
• Adheres to Orlando Health mission statements and strategic imperatives.

Education

Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology

Florida licensure as Radiologic Technologist

ARRT certification

Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification
