Job summary

Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and related procedures. The role requires licensure in Florida, ARRT certification, and current BLS.

You will contribute to high-quality images, patient safety, and effective teamwork within the Diagnostic Imaging department. The position is on-site at Bayfront Hospital, with a varied shift and responsibilities that include supervising students and maintaining strict documentation

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ValidFlorida licensure and ARRT certification.
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy and/or physiology for interpretation and/or intervention.
• Exercises professional judgment in performance of services while maintaining a demeanor aligned with quality care.
• Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.
• Assures safe practices complying with state and federal regulations for each modality.
• Assists in supervision of student technologists and training of new technologists.
• Uses radiology computer systems accurately and safely.
