Avera is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate radiographic and CT equipment to provide diagnostically useful images as directed by physicians. You will work with a multidisciplinary team, adhering to standards and safety while using PACS, RIS, and HIS EMR systems for complete data submission.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology and ARRT certification within 60 days, with strong patient care and teamwork skills in a hospital setting.

• Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties and communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to work in a team environment and maintain confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Performs radiology procedures accurately and efficiently per standards and protocols.
• Initiates proper intervention to radiologist when an exam requires attention.
• Reviews indications for exams and reports inappropriate indications to supervisor.
• Provides exam data for radiologist interpretation.
• Utilizes PACS, RIS, HIS EMR systems and performs clerical duties.
• Archives image data and sends images to radiologist group; retrieves stored images as needed.
• Maintains department policies, safety, and infection control.
• Mentors staff and assists with training and orientation.
• Supports record maintenance per standards and regulations.
