HCA Florida Osceola Hospital in Florida seeks a PRN Radiology Technologist to perform radiologic procedures and help oversee department operations. The role includes stepping in for the Assistant Chief Technologist as needed and caring for a diverse patient population from newborns to seniors.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer certification required.
• Vocational School Graduate or Associate Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Performs all duties of a Radiology Technologist and oversees department operations.
• Capable of replacing the Assistant Chief Technologist as required.
• Care for a patient population ranging from newborn to geriatric with developmental considerations.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Job Summary:

Performs all duties of a Radiology Technologist, as well as oversee the general operation of the department as assigned. Is capable of replacing the Assistant Chief Technologist as required. This position requires providing care/service to a critically ill through rehabilitating newborn through geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the function/developmental age of the individual served. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Osceola regional Medical Center. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the core values. The employee shall support Osceola Regional Medical Center's stategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography

• Vocational School Graduate, or Associate Degree
