Qualifications

• One year of experience in each modality preferred.
• ER hospital setting experience preferred.
• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• ARRT and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Multi-modality technologists should have two or more modality certifications.

Responsabilités

• Operate CT scanning equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Position patients accurately for scans targeting specific areas.
• Perform CT scanner warm-up procedures to extend tube life.
• Sterilize and maintain radiologic equipment for safety.
• Follow physician scanning instructions precisely.
• Administer radiocontrast agents when needed.
• Assess image quality and report deficiencies.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately.
• Maintain radiologic supplies inventory and report shortages.
