Job summary

Advocate Health in Matthews, NC seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensure high-quality images, and uphold patient safety in Internal Medicine.

Candidates should be graduates of an approved Radiologic Technology program, with ARRT registration and CPR/BCLS. Six months' experience is preferred; one year with patients is a bonus. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8–5, 40 hours per week, with a pay range of $26.55–$39.85 per hour.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum six months experience as a diagnostic Radiologic Technologist preferred.
• One year experience with patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building.
• Follows hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
• Assumes responsibility for keeping informed about changes in policies and procedures.
• Performs diagnostic/therapeutic procedures in accordance with state Radiation Protection regulations.
• Maintains accurate patient records via data entry and image archival.
• Provides instruction and consultation to health care personnel and patients to promote improved quality of patient care.
• Provides emergency on-call coverage after normal working hours as required.
