Job summary

UNC Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform routine radiology procedures and assist radiologists in complex studies. The role requires ensuring patient safety, accurate data entry, and high-quality imaging for diagnosis.

Responsibilities include coordinating with RIS/PACS, maintaining equipment, and adhering to departmental protocols. Onsite work in Rocky Mount, NC with full-time schedule and standard hours.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Sciences required or completion within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of General Diagnostic Radiology and follows UNC Healthcare System protocols.
• Ensures correct patient demographics and examination requests; transmits and stores images in PACS and RIS.
• Performs routine radiology procedures and ensures timely, high-quality images.
• Maintains equipment and reports any problems to the supervisor.
• Uses RIS, CIS, PACS, and SMS to document procedure status and ensure data accuracy.
