Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved ARRT program or ARRT in Radiology Technology (R).
• Knowledge of RIS and PACS systems required.
• Ability to position radiographic equipment and ensure image quality.

Responsibilities

• Position radiographic equipment to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain relevant medical history.
• Protect patients by following radiation safety standards and shielding guidelines.
• Maintain and test x-ray equipment and update patient records for billing in RIS/PACS.
